Les Chauds Lapins are Kurt Hoffman and Meg Reichardt and they cover Charles Trenet songs and other jewels from the French 30's and 40's musical traditions accompanying themselves on banjo-ukes. Prior to their re-incarnation as French entertainers, Meg was better known as one third of the Roulette sisters and Kurt as a reed player and composer who co-led cult instrumental band the Ordinaires and recorded with such luminaries as They Might be Giants, Frank Black, Firewater, and Drink Me

New England Symphonic Ensemble
The New England Symphonic Ensemble and participating choirs from across the United States perform a dynamic program featuring Rossini’s Overture to La scala di seta and Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E Minor, conducted by Giorgio Marini with violinist Davide Alogna. Fauré’s Requiem is led by Sarah Herrington, and his Cantique de Jean Racine by Noah Palmer. William White conducts Mozart’s Mass in C Major and Rachel Samet leads Regina coeli in C Major.

New England Symphonic Ensemble
The New England Symphonic Ensemble performs an afternoon of choral and orchestral masterworks, featuring participating choirs from around the country. The program features Fauré’s transcendent Requiem, led by Craig Denison and Jeffrey L. Webb, alongside John Rutter’s jubilant Te Deum and Gloria, conducted by Kipper Ackerman and Sonja Sepúlveda. Schubert’s lyrical Mass No. 4 in C Major, and Vivaldi’s vibrant Magnificat round out the performance under Dennis Malfatti and Chantae Pittman.

Suzannah, a midwife, arrives in Nagyrév, Hungary at the end of the Great War. When the men return home from the battlefield, they bring the war’s violence with them and domestic abuse becomes rampant. When one woman desperately seeks Suzannah’s help, she teams up with the coroner’s wife, Júlia, to run an operation designed to keep the women safe and earn back their freedom. But as the women gain power in their town—and the men grow terrified—the lines between evil and justice become blurred.
